You know when you're a first-time mom, and you think you've got it all together? Ha, yeah. That was me when I approached potty training my daughter. I went into it knowing how it would go down. And boy, did my daughter ever have a different idea in mind.
A year later I can finally say she is potty-trained, but I'm NOT going to make the same mistakes with my little guy! To start with, I'm waiting until he gives me sure signs that he's ready. He's only little once and I want to enjoy this baby stage! Also, I want to make him some FUN underwear!
I chose these fabrics specifically because I knew my little guy would love them! The Stenzo Beetles I paired with some older grey Stenzo Stars -(similar, seems like the grey isn't in stock currently) and a scrap of orange striped knit I already had. The other pair are made with Baam! jersey with the same Stenzo Stars and a lovely striped remnant I got from l'oiseau a while back. These feel so soft and comfy!
I've been hyping up the new big boy undies so he's starting to get really excited!
I used Fishsticks Bottoms Undercover Boxers pattern and I love the options for colour-blocking! Here's hoping I relax a little more with this guy and let him learn at his own speed!
Thanks for having me Michelle - keep finding those amazing knits!
